You Lose Weight

You lose weight by doing the things that need to be done to lose weight.  The truth about the entire matter is that most people do not really know what needs to be done to make weight loss a reality.  Too many people that want to lose weight spend too much time flailing around and getting nothing done.  Too often people think that by latching onto the latest and greatest weight loss fad is what will “make them” lose weight.  What you need to understand is that to lose weight, only two things really matter.

  1. You eat the right foods
  2. You decide that you need to make a change for life and skip the “diet” and start on a “live-it”.

As a Cerified Health Coach I have at my disposal a great meal plan that can get you on your way towards weight loss, but even the meal plan will one day end.  Let’s say you reach that “magic number” on your scale and are done dieting?  What happens then?  Did you lose weight only to return to the habits that made you overweight in the first place?  Looking back at rule #1 is where most people stop when thinking about weight loss.  What most people do not do is think through what needs to be done AFTER the diet is over.
