Tomato Chips
1 packet of tomato soup
Add just enough water to make it pasty. Make it pastier than tomato paste.
Spray a paper plate with pam, don’t skimp on this.
Spread the paste all over the bottom of the paper plate, taking it all the way to the edges.
Microwave for about 60 seconds and remove.
Use a spatula, loosen the edges and then flip it as if you were cooking a pancake.
Microwave for another 30 to 60 seconds, depending on your microwave, and how crispy you like the chips.
When done to satisfaction, break the soup into chips.
They tend to get crunchier when cooled. Some suggest that you can add a little basil to the paste when making the tomato chips. You can do this with any of the cream chips. Broccoli chips are great too!!
I am not a cream soup fan so this was an alternative that I found on one of the blogs. Thank you for the recipe.
